Merry Xmas!

A manager asked me about my background ... what is it that makes other people intrigued to know me more ? Is it because of the tudung ? Do I look different from the rest ? That I look like a Chinese/Japanese with headscarf coz I am fairer?

I know that whenever someone knows that you are a convert , you will be the centre of attention. They will want to know more like what makes me convert (revert , actually) into Islam, how does it feels after you said the Syahadah, what's my family reaction etc.....

Dont get me wrong, I am not complaining here. I am actually flattered with the attention , because you get special kind of treatment once they know that you are a Mualaf.

Curiosity kills the cat

This morning I received a SMS from an aunty of mine. Havent met her for a long time until Sis's wedding recently. She was like a big sis to us as she is only few years older than me...anyway, she smsed me asking me what makes me embrace Islam. Was is easy to do that and what prompt me to do so? Do I no longer believes in the divinity of Jesus?
I was lost for words...I dont really know how to answer her for now that is...so I ended up not replying her!
Anyway, we off to Kedah this afternoon. I gotta do a briefing for our staffs there. After that, off we go to Penang for holiday! Yeay!

The joy and pain of motherhood

Hubby is back in his hometown, leaving me alone to fend the sick Baby. Darn !

I am glad that Baby's fever is down when I went and fetched her from the Babysitter today although this morning her temperature rose. Because Baby is sick, she has become very clingy and wants me to carry her around only. Astagfirullazim...testing my patience.

Hmmm, why am I not surprised when the PM announced the fuel price hike? It is to be expected, I guessed. Well done for those who have voted for them. Now, I have to reschedule all my ghastly monthly bills. Sigh! The only hope now is salary increment soon. I am keeping my fingers crossed. Maybe this year, $ luck will smile at me.

But, there's somethings that I can celebrate for is the full repayment to my 3 major credit cards! Phew! What a relief. No more nightmares, no more cards Yay! :)

And I can't wait for the keys to our own pad to be given. My current pastime now is looking for interior ideas. Haven't been able to do that since Baby came. No,no am not blaming her. Today is her 1 year old birthday and poor her, she's having a fever.
